Rolling Thunder Supports FVTS

Rolling Thunder of Warrenville presented a very generous check to FVTS and helped prepare care packages at the Armed Forces Day care package event.

Sarah Giachino, Co Chair FVTS, talked to ABC's Channel 7 Chicago News anchor Stacey Bacca about the Armed Forces Care Package Event on the weekend of May 15.

On behalf of Fox Valley Troop Support, Sarah Giachino (FVTS co-chair) accepts the award from the IL National Guard Charlie Troop. FVTS sent letters and care packages to the members of Charlie Troop while deployed in Afghanistan.

Heritage Woods Retirement Living of Batavia IL donates care package supplies to Fox Valley Troop Support

Thank You Heritage Woods! On Saturday July 10th, Heritage Woods held a "Red, White and Blue" picnic for their residents, families and friends. Catigney WWll Re Enactors with their 1940's military vehicles were in attendence and the Andrew Sisters group, "Legacy" performed vintage songs for the crowd in their 1940's USO attire.

A huge thank you to the Heritage Woods staff who organized a meaningful tribute to our Veterans. Your contribution will bring smiles to many deployed servicemembers who are thousands of miles away from home.
